Hello there, I'm Tom, owner of New Image Studio.
Welcome to our Web site, and to my page!
There's a few things I'd like to share about myself and about the studio here, so that you can get a feel of who we are and what we do at NIS.
First of all, feel free to come and browse through the site. I think you'll find it visually exciting, informative, and full of ideas for what you want to accomplish with your photos. We haven't cherry picked the best images to show you--you'll get to see a ton of photos, lots of shoots for every kind of photography we do, and lots of images from each shoot. The site shows the depth and range of our photography, and I hope it'll help you tap into the variety and consistency of our work.
As for me, I've been working in professional photography and graphic arts for 35 years. I'm originally from Michigan, but I've lived in Raleigh for the last 25 years, and that was a good switch--I'm no cold weather person. My family's the most important thing to me: my wife, Colette, is my soul mate and business partner to whom I'm attached at the hip (probably closer than she would like), I have three grown up daughters, and we're also a big animal outfit here, with three dogs and two cats.
At our home studio, photography is a way of life, and we're really into enjoying life here, something that translates into our photo shoots and our art, and attracts other talented and experienced designers and photographers to work with us.
If you like what you see on the site, please reach out. Each client and each event I photograph is a fresh start, a creative puzzle that presents a new and different challenge--no cookie cutters or templates here. I look forward to making contact and figuring out what we can create together.
